I am trying to work on Maya's bedroom when I get a bit of time here and there. Last week the kids had an extra long nap and I wasn't feeling tired so I started putting up the wall decals. They are from the book The Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle. We have the book and as soon as Ezra saw them up he recognized them and went to get the book. This week I put up her closet cover (from Japan) and curtains. It is starting to look like a little girls room, I have a couple of pictures to add and then things will just get added as time goes on.
Ezra's room has changed a bit in the past few months too. The shelving and wall decals were all put up last year, but he has his big boy bed (or should I say mattress on the floor). He loves his bed now and we don't have to be afraid when he is jumping on it that he is going to fall too far. He really loves playing in his room and spending time there reading books, playing with toys, and jumping on the bed.

Maya was helping me out a little bit, sitting in her bumbo chair. I lovethe bumbo chair as it goes wherever you need it to. She can hold her neck up for ten minutes or so and then gets tired and starts sliding down.
