Sadler Chronicles: Spring Break!

Well this week was Spring break in Ontario, not that it was a big deal for us! The highlights of the week: being able to get outside as the weather was super and continues to be. It is like summer- windows are open, we've been to the park several times as well as out for walks- yeah! The downside to the week: sickness plagued our household and continues to do so. Ezra had a fever, cough, and runny nose which later turned out to be an ear infection. Now, both Phil and I have a cold and little Maya, well she is stuffed up too :( Oh well, we are on the mend and that is what is important.

Ezra continues to learn new words. He learned the word "broke" (after knocking a picture off of the wall), "milk" and "please." One of the funniest moments of the week was when we were playing with his Fischer Price barn and animals. I asked him what does the sheep eat? Could he be hungry? He then thought for a moment and proceeded to try and put the sheep down my shirt (I guess that is where everone gets to eat now!). Another funny havit- he loves Ritz peanut butter crackers (the mini ones) which he has all of a sudden started seperating and eating half, leaving the other half.... Ezra continues to learn new things and new ways of playing everyday and it is such a privilege to watch.

Maya is doing well too. She is smiling and blowing spit bubbles, kicking a ton, and watching every step of her brother. She prefers to be sitting up now and had her first sit in the bumbo. She has enjoyed the outdoors, going to the park in the baby carrier. We also had a great time at baby Zumba class this week.
